Prism Puzzle Challenge

OMG you will NOT believe this game. It's called Prism Puzzle Challenge, right? Someone told me it was like, a kid's game for learning shapes, with donuts. And I was like, okay, whatever, I'll try anything to kill some time. But dude, that description is sooooo wrong it's hilarious. It's like calling a fancy chef's tasting menu "food you put in your mouth." Technically true, but completely missing the point.

I started playing it around 8 tonight, thinking I'd do like, ten minutes. Next thing I know, I look at the clock and it's 11:30 PM. I swear five minutes had passed. Your brain just gets totally sucked in. The first few "stages" are literally just matching a triangle to a triangle outline, and there's a cute little donut that pops up. I was thinking, "Yep, this is exactly what they said, boring." But then, dude, it just... opens up.

It's not about shapes at all, not really. It's about *light*. And like, reflections and weird angles. You have these colored prisms, not just basic shapes, and you have to arrange them so a beam of light hits a specific target. But the light *bounces* and *splits* and changes color when it goes through certain prisms. And the target isn't always visible! Sometimes your trying to hit something that's only there when the light is a certain color, or it's behind another reflection. It's like, mind-bending. I'm not sure why but the sound when you finally get a beam to hit the right spot, it's this little *chime* that's so satisfying.

Honestly, I usually hate puzzle games that are too hard, they just make me frustrated. But this one, even when I was stuck, I felt like I was *almost* there. Like, I just needed to twist one more thing. There was this one part, I swear it was like level 37 or something, where I had to make the light hit a target that was *behind* the starting point, by bouncing it off like three different mirrors and through a prism that flipped the color. I almost screamed when I finally got it. It's so clever how they did that. It's like a Rubik's Cube but if the cube was made of light and you had to think in 3D, but it's on a flat screen? I don't know, it just works.

I've already told my sister she needs to download it. She's usually into those match-3 games, but I think this would totally get her. It's just so different and genuinely fun. You actually feel smart when you figure something out. Seriously, you gotta try it.
