Sprunki: Troll's Tricky Puzzle Platforms
About Sprunki: Troll's Tricky Puzzle Platforms
Hey! Dude, you awake? I literally just finished playing Sprunki and I can't sleep. It's like, 11 PM. Remember how that guy said it was just a platformer with hidden traps? Like, "Can you pass the troll levels?" That description is SO wrong. It's like calling a really good pizza "bread with toppings." Technically true, but totally misses the point.
I started playing it tonight, thinking it'd be one of those frustrating games where you just die a million times. And yeah, I died. A lot. Especially on the first level, "Sprunki's Starting Steps," because I kept trying to jump over everything. But then, on the second stage, "The Glimmering Gorge," there was this giant rolling boulder. I tried to jump it like five times, kept getting squished. I was getting annoyed. But then I noticed this tiny little crack in the wall, and if you walked *into* the boulder's path, it didn't squish you, it pushed you *through* the crack to a secret switch! My jaw actually dropped.
It's not about remembering traps. It's about thinking sideways. Like, the "troll" isn't just setting traps to kill you, he's setting up these really clever puzzles that look like traps. And the little Sprunki dude is so cute, like a tiny blue blob with big eyes and he makes this little "boing" sound when he jumps, it's adorable. Or when he bumps into a wall, he makes this tiny "oof" sound, lol.
Honestly, I thought I'd play for an hour. Next thing I know, it's 11:30 and I've cleared like 15 stages. I even figured out on the "Whispering Woods" level that those little "Grumble-goblins" that chase you? If you let them catch up to you in certain spots, they actually trigger pressure plates that open doors you can't reach! It's so smart.
The game just makes you feel really clever when you figure something out. It's not like those super hard platformers where you just get mad. It's more like a really fun escape room, but you're a tiny character in a weird world. And the troll, he's not even mean, his little laugh when you get a puzzle right is more like a proud chuckle. I even told Sarah from work about it today. She loves puzzle games, I bet she'd be hooked. You seriously gotta try it. Your gonna love it.
