Cosmic Rainbow Monster Mayhem

Hey, are you awake? lol. I literally just finished playing that Cosmic Rainbow Monster Mayhem game and dude, I cannot sleep. My brain is still buzzing.

Someone told me it was like, "begin a fun battle with your gun" and all that shooting combos stuff. And honestly, that description is SO wrong it’s hilarious. It’s like describing a really good cake as "flour and sugar." Technically true, but misses the whole point.

Because it’s not about shooting anything at all! Your not even given a gun. It’s more like a super weird, super colorful hide-and-seek puzzle game in space. Like, imagine if a neon art exhibit met a really clever escape room, but with these genuinely unsettling, brightly colored space creatures.

The first time I played, I was expecting to blast away, right? But then I spawned in this super bright, kinda broken-down section of the 'Prism Station,' and all I had was this little 'Color-Glow' device. It doesn't shoot, it just makes things light up or changes their color. I was so confused at first, like, "what am I supposed to do with this?"

Then I saw one of the "Giggle-Blobs" – they're these big, squishy, rainbow things that just bounce around and make this high-pitched, almost cute giggling sound, but your brain just knows they're dangerous. And I figured out if I pulsed my Color-Glow on a specific wall panel, the Giggle-Blob would actually follow the light! I used it to lure it away from a door, and then I could sneak past. That was such a clever moment, I literally gasped.

And it just kept doing stuff like that. You're not fighting, you're *thinking*. You're trying to figure out how these different rainbow monsters react to light, or sound, or even specific patterns. There's these "Shadow-Squiggles" that only appear if you shine a certain color on them, and you have to like, quickly change the color of a light beam to make them move out of your way. It's so cool.

I didn't even realize I’d been playing for like, three hours straight. I usually don't like puzzle games that much, but this one just pulls you in. It’s not boring, it’s genuinely exciting trying to figure out the next weird monster interaction. I already told my cousin Leo he has to try it. Seriously, forget the description, it's really good. I'm still thinking about that part where I had to get the three 'Chroma-Cores' to align. So good.
