Honestly, when I first started, I was like, "Okay, where are these five differences?" I was clicking around this picture of a Venice canal, and I saw a gondola with a cat steering it, which was cute. But then I clicked the cat, and it yawned, and a tiny little fish jumped out of the canal and landed in a bucket on the side. And *that* was one of the "differences." It's not just finding things, it's like, you have to *wake up* the scene. You interact with stuff, and it triggers a chain reaction, and then something totally wild happens.
Like, there was this one stage with a bustling market. I had to make Papa Enzo, this grumpy chef, sneeze by clicking on a chili pepper, and his sneeze made a pigeon drop a tiny key, and the key unlocked a little cage where a singing artichoke was hiding. A singing artichoke! I’m not even kidding. The little "ding-dong" sound when you figure out a connection is so satisfying.
I don't usually like puzzle games that much, but this one is just so clever and weird. It's like a Rube Goldberg machine but for your eyes, and everything is just so charmingly bizarre. I looked at the clock and it was like 1:45 AM, I had no idea I'd been playing for hours. It just sucks you in.
